Resurg are thrilled to celebrate their 15th year of benchmarking the performance of the Australian and New Zealand holiday parks industries.  

Over this time Chris Young has worked side by side with more than a hundred holiday park owners to analyse their financial results and meet with them to discuss what they are doing to achieve these results. This has given Chris an invaluable insight into what makes Holiday Parks profitable.Before arriving at Resurg, 

Chris’s career began in food retail, spending twelve years in management with McDonald’s UK before moving back to Australia as Retail Manager for Boost Juice bars. Working in two successful franchise networks has left Chris with a strong understanding of business fundamentals and a passion for training and development. Outside of work, Chris resides in the Northern suburbs of Sydney and has three young children.  

Seven years ago, Chris’s life changed dramatically when a sudden illness left him as a bilateral amputee. Chris successfully rehabilitated and now regularly competes in Golf tournaments across the globe. Living through this experience has taught Chris the importance of positivity, resilience and maintaining a healthy work / life balance.
