David Ovendale

David has been with the TOP 10 Group since late July 2013. Originally from South Africa, he has been involved in the travel industry for 25 years with the majority of this time spent in snow sports marketing and tourism and he has been fortunate enough to spend much of his career in interesting mountain towns around the world from France and Switzerland to Colorado, California and Queenstown. After 7 years in Queenstown as GM Sales & Marketing for NZSki, he most recently spent 3 years in Sydney as GM Retail Travel, running the retail travel division for the NRMA.

In his 5 years at TOP 10, David has been instrumental in uplifting organisational culture across the franchisee network, migration of the business to one with a customer centric focus, introduced and improved a range of systems, procedures and tools, including digital technology, that have driven the business forward and delivered 5 consecutive years of record growth across all metrics. The TOP 10 group is now very well positioned to embark on a journey of quality improvement and considered, strategic, footprint growth.
